The 28-year-old actress is said to be planning a move from the US to live in Britain with her French boyfriend Benjamin Millepied.

Millepied, 32, had a live-in girlfriend of three years when he met Portman last year, and it is claimed that she wants to move to the UK to escape all the US press intrusion.

A source said: “Natalie hopes to get some privacy in England. She is adamant Benjamin should spend some time with her.”

The Star Wars beauty is dating 32-year-old US dancer Benjamin Millepied after they met on the set of her new flick, Black Swan.

But now it has been claimed that he was still living with his girlfriend of three years when he and Israeli-born Portman, 28, began their fling.

“They’ve been dating since the fall,” a source said. “Ben had a live-in girlfriend of three years when they met. She was a ballerina at the American Ballet Theater.”

The source told a US newspaper: “She had been talking about marrying him and was blindsided by the split. She moved out right after New Year’s Eve.”

A representative for Portman was unavailable for comment.

Portman, 28, plays the love interest of Tobey Maguire and Jake Gyllenhaal in the new flick.

Asked why she took the mother and wife role, she told UK newspaper the Daily Mirror: “I just don’t want to be cute any more.

“I’ve been playing girl-woman roles for a long time and I was excited about the opportunity of playing an adult. I really wanted the challenge.”

Portman, who plays the wife of a soldier in the film, said that she talked to many military wives for the role and also spoke to her own mum to prepare for the part.

She said: “My own mother is the most maternal, nurturing, warm, cosy mummy. So I had all that in me. She was a great role model.”

The 28-year-old can be seen starring opposite Jake Gyllenhaal in new movie Brothers, which is out on January 22.

She is playing a mother in the movie and said her maternal instincts are easy to tap into.

Portman said: “The mum comes out very easily in me, though. I have a very maternal mum of my own.

“She’s a very cosy, nurturing type, and she is the most close-up model for that kind of behaviour that I’ve had.

“I’ve not been a real mum, of course, but that remains something I hope for one day.”

It is claimed she met Millepied, 32, on the set of her new movie Black Swan.

A source said to In Touch: “She has been subletting Sarah Michelle Gellar’s apartment and she wanted to celebrate the new year with a few close friends and introduce them to Ben.

“They have actually been a couple since the fall, but she wanted to see how serious it was before she started to show him off to her inner circle. She really likes him.”
