Model Daisy Lowe reportedly shied away from the cameras after an outbreak of blemishes.

The 21-year-old star, who is the daughter of Pearl Lowe and Gavin Rossdale, models for brands such as Chanel, Pringle and Agent Provocateur.

Lowe stayed away from the cameras after her skin came up in blemishes at a red-carpet event and soon after, she had a shoot for British Vogue.

A pal said: “Unfortunately, you can’t control your skin. There is a lot more to Daisy and her career than a few spots on her skin. These things sometimes happen – even Kate Moss has had spots.”

Her agent added: “There are no problems between Daisy and Vogue. Photographs are always retouched. It is just a blip. Daisy is a highly successful international model.”

The 21-year-old spent a few days in hospital after having a kidney operation.

It is claimed her illustrator boyfriend, Christopher Gove, has been looking after her following the operation.

A source told UK newspaper the Mail On Sunday: “Chris has already moved his things in – they are inseparable. She pays for him to fly with her wherever she goes for work and they spend all of their time together.”

The 20-year-old found out only five years ago that Rossdale, 44, was her biological father after a paternity test was carried out. Her mum is the fashion designer Pearl Lowe.

Daisy was recently seen visiting Rossdale and his wife Gwen Stefani, 40, at their home in London and took their three-year-old son Kingston to the park to walk their dog.

It is claimed she spent two hours at the house visiting the couple, who also have a younger son Zuma, one, before taking Kingston to the park.

The movie’s young star Max Records, 12, who plays Max in the movie, said: “London seems pretty great, honestly. It’s so rainy, it’s awesome. I live in Portland, Oregon, and it’s like this a lot.”

Director Spike Jonze said that bringing the movie’s premiere to the British capital was a homecoming for a lot of the team who worked on the film.

He said: “We were doing visual effects here for the last year, so we’ve been here so much and every day on the way to work we’d walk through Leicester Square and see a premiere here, so it’s exciting that we’re actually able to come to our own premiere here.”

The 20-year-old, the daughter of Bush star Gavin Rossdale and fashion designer Pearl Lowe, posed for the pictures with Australian model Catherine McNeil and they only had a large tyre to hide their modesty.

She said to reporters: “It was quite freeing, being able to be naked for a week.”

Eleven girls took part in the racy shoot including British model Lily Cole, who was pictured underwater, and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, who posed on the beach in just a pair of white knickers.
