The 35-year-old fashion designer had jetted in to the London airport from LA so she could catch a flight to Moscow for a fashion launch.

She was hoping to meet up with her footballer hubby at the airport before he flew out to LA but they missed each other.

The pair then had to make do with speaking on the phone as Becks returned to LA after spending some time recovering at their Hertfordshire mansion from ankle surgery.

A source said to UK newspaper The Sun: “It was upsetting for them both. Victoria burst into tears when she realised they wouldn’t even be able to say ‘hi’ at the airport.

“This is the life they lead – their jobs mean they have to travel all over the world at short notice.”
