Australia bans Pamela Anderson video from its airwaves

Read More ]"/> Australia has banned a raunchy video of skimpily clad Pamela Anderson pouring milk onto a model.

The ad was barely released before Australian censors ripped it from the hands of television networks with a blanket ban.

Crazy Domains, an internet company in Perth, was swamped with hundreds of complaints before the Advertising Standards Bureau took the ad off the air. Crazy Domains’ managing director has opposed the ban and called it the result of controversy stoked by “feminist bloggers”.

The ad shows Anderson and another woman dressed in gold bikinis playing with a milk spray as the fantasy of a man in an office.

“It’s meant to be a cheeky, over-the-top depiction, but in the Bureau’s view it did cross the line,” Advertising Standards Bureau president Fiona Jolly said.
