Simon Cowell slams Facebook campaign trying to prevent X Factor number one

Read More ]"/> Music mogul Simon Cowell has slammed a Facebook campaign that is trying to prevent X Factor having a number one this year.

The 50-year-old judge was speaking at a press conference ahead of the final of this year’s show and he said the Facebook campaign is ‘cynical’.

The campaign is trying to prevent one of the three finalists getting the number one Christmas single this year.

Cowell said at a press conference: “If there’s a campaign, and I think the campaign’s aimed directly at me, it’s stupid. Me having a number one record at Christmas is not going to change my life particularly.”
