Ronan Keating: ‘I will find Christmas tough without Stephen Gately’

Read More ]"/> Boyzone star Ronan Keating has said he and his fellow band members will find Christmas “tough” without singer Stephen Gately.

Keating, who goes on tour next year in Australia and the UK, said the group would be “together” on Boxing Day to remember their bandmate, who died earlier this year.

“It is going to be tough for all of us. We are going to be together on Boxing Day, just to keep each other company and get through it as best we can,” he told GMTV.

“We would always be together at Christmas, so it is going to be hard this year.”

Gately, who was 33, died on October 10 at his holiday home on the island of Majorca.

A court official in Majorca said shortly after his death that the Irish star had died of natural causes and had suffered a pulmonary oedema, an accumulation of fluid on the lungs.
