The 20-year-old socialite, daughter of Live Aid creator Bob, said she couldn’t believe she had survived the smash, which took place yesterday (Wednesday) morning as she was on her way to the theme park with a group of friends.

The driver of the car, whose name is not known, lost control of the vehicle when her foot slipped on the pedals.

Miss Geldof said she screamed and clung onto a pal as the car span 360 degrees across three lanes of traffic.

“Honestly can’t believe we’re alive after that,” she wrote on her Twitter web page.

“And that the front of the car is totally f***** up and yet we’re still carrying on to Disney!?”

Despite the crash and damaged car, Miss Geldof and her friends carried on to Disneyland and posed for a picture in front of the theme park’s magic castle.

The socialite tweeted that she had been on the Space Mountain, Jungle Safari Cruise and Indiana Jones rides.
