The 17-year-old pop princess was in the UK to perform in front of the Queen at the Royal Variety Show and when she found out the lights had been switched off, she took her mum and sister for a bag of chips instead.

A source said: “For some reason, Blackpool turn the lights off for Christmas.

“Thankfully, meeting Lady Gaga cheered Miley up. She wasn’t as bothered about meeting the Queen.”
