The 39-year-old star is married to Cannon, 29, and she admitted she is not worried about his potential skills as a dad.

She said: “He’d be the best dad in the whole world!”

Carey was speaking at the UNICEF Snowflake Ball in New York where she and her hubby showed their support for the international children’s charitable organisation.

She added: “We have to take care of children. Any time I can be a part of helping out, I’m here.”
