LeAnn Rimes agrees to confidential divorce settlement

The document reads: “The [settlement] shall not be filed in this proceeding due to the parties’ mutual desire to maintain their respective rights to privacy.”

It is believed the settlement divides the couple’s cash, property and other valuables.

The document says that both Rimes, 27, and Sheremet, 29, will be single when their marital status officially ends on June 19, 2010.

The pair split after eight years together when Rimes began a relationship with actor Eddie Cibrian.

Cibrian was married at the time to Brandi Glanville, who are also divorcing, which caused much scandal in the US earlier this year.
