The 41-year-old star, who is dating Spanish model Andres Velencoso, wants as many Minogues there as possible this year.

She said: “I’ll be spending Christmas with as many family as we can gather in one place. Because I live so far away, time with my family is so precious.

“In Australia, we always have a barbecue with lots of fresh seafood. Everyone pitches in in the kitchen for a big lunch.

“As for presents, we all gather round the tree and the gifts are handed out. The dog always has the best time with all the wrapping!”
