Jay-Z wishes he had brought out a range of umbrellas

Read More ]"/> Rapper Jay-Z has said he wishes he had brought out a range of umbrellas when Rihanna’s track Umbrella was a hit.

The 39-year-old has had huge success with his line Rocawear over the years but said he made a mistake by not bringing out the umbrella range.

He said: “We really should have had some Rihanna Rocawear umbrellas when that song became a hit.”

He added: “We could have made a load of money on those. I’m still kicking myself.”

However, the Blueprint Three star still refuses to call Rocawear a celebrity brand.

He said: “If I focus on that, no one would buy the clothes. People rely so much less these days on the logo. They want quality product, which is what I want Rocawear to be known for – we make a damn good pair of jeans.

“That’s why people buy them.”
