Read More ]"/> British actor Hugh Grant has revealed that he has seen a psychiatrist in a bid to calm his nerves about acting in big-budget movies.

The Four Weddings And A Funeral star admitted that he still suffers from stage fright when the cameras start rolling and that he has tried a variety of techniques to relax.

He said: “I’m a nervous wreck.

“The bigger the budget is, the more they’re paying you, the more nervous you get as an actor.

“I’ve tried everything – yoga, breathing techniques, every pill you can imagine, both chemical and herbal.

“Nothing has really worked.”

He added: “I even had to see a psychiatrist about it. He gave me all kinds of techniques.

“All of them utterly useless.”

Grant, 49, also revealed that he would love to quit acting.

He said: “I’ve been saying it for 20 years now, and then I never do retire. I just can’t get away from it.”
