The Melbourne brothers turned up in photos of a fight that happened after an event in Hollywood. The incident, however, took place a few months ago.

Observers said the decision by newsite TMZ to put up the images appeared to be a commercial one.

Liam, 19, who has been linked to Miley Cyrus, and Chris, 26, and a third party were apparently in a scuffle that turned into a fight.

According to TMZ: “The brothers approached him – and suddenly a 2-on-1 brawl broke out. We’re told event security broke up the fight – and managed to separate everyone before cops were needed.”

Their management stayed silent and would not comment to Australian media. The photos have now sold locally to a magazine, according to Sydney’s Daily Telegraph.
