The Crazy Heart star played Santa to the kids at Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital in his hometown of Dublin, Ireland, handing out presents and chatting to the children for several hours, according to reports.

A source revealed that Farrell had made several visits to the hospital in previous years, adding, “He keeps a low profile when he comes in. He doesn’t want photographers or anything.”

The source added: “He’s really popular with the staff and really genuine, and the kids really love and appreciate his visit.”
