Charlie Sheen ‘held knife to my throat’, wife tells police

Brooke Mueller told officers she feared for her life as the 44-year-old Spin City star pinned her down in the bedroom of her rented home in Aspen, Colorado.

She alleges he said: “You better be in fear. If you tell anybody I’ll kill you. Your mother’s money means nothing, I have ex-police I can hire who know how to get the job done and they won’t leave any trace.”

Officers from the Pitkin County police department quizzed both Sheen and Mueller after the real estate investor made a seemingly panicky 911 call at 8.34 on Christmas morning.

The cops – Rick Magnuson, Casey Ward and Valerie McFarlane – were told by the dispatch centre that Sheen had a “switch blade” and was trying to leave the property.

According to an affidavit, written and signed by Magnuson, both husband and wife confessed the scuffle had started when Mueller announced she wanted a divorce.

The real estate investor, who has nine-month-old twin sons with Sheen, claimed the actor – referred to by his real name Carlos Estevez in the court document – became “enraged” by her demand. “Mueller had red marks on the upper part of the front of her neck,” Magnuson’s affidavit states.

Sheen denied strangling his wife and threatening her with a knife, but did tell police he had a “folding knife” in his travel bag.
