The 37-year-old started her career aged just 21 when she auditioned for, and won, a part in movie The Mask opposite Jim Carrey. She is currently promoting her new movie The Box.

She said: “In a way I feel like I’m just getting started with my work. I got into it at such a young age, I didn’t really know what I was doing for a long time.

“Now I feel like I’m getting the hang of it a little bit. I feel like: ‘OK, now I actually have something to contribute.’

“That’s what I love most about getting older – you feel like you have more to offer, you’ve gained information and knowledge, and you’re a better version of yourself. I want to embrace that.”
