Barbra Streisand sued by injured carpenter over fall

Read More ]"/> Barbra Streisand is being sued by a carpenter who claims he injured himself in a fall at her Malibu mansion.

Carpenter Daniel Ortiz is accusing Streisand of “negligence” over the incident in 2007.

He says he fell into a ditch while coming out of an on-site trailer and badly injured himself.

A lawsuit filed in Los Angeles says Streisand “failed to take steps to either make the dangerous condition safe or warn Ortiz of the ditch”.

Ortiz claims the accident caused him “humiliation, fear, discomfort, anxiety, loss of enjoyment of life, mental anguish, and emotional and physical distress”.

He is demanding compensation for damages.
