X Factor judge Cheryl Cole is to duet with band Snow Patrol at the upcoming Children In Need charity concert

X Factor judge Cheryl Cole is to duet with band Snow Patrol at the upcoming Children In Need charity concert.

The 26-year-old singer will team up with the band for the concert at the Royal Albert Hall on November 12, which has been organised by Take That singer Gary Barlow.

It is claimed Cheryl will sing Martha Wainwright’s lines from the band’s song Set The Fire To The Third Bar during the gig.

Snow Patrol’s frontman Gary Lightbody said that lots of duets are taking place at the gig.

He said: “Everyone doing that gig has to duet with someone from the gig. Everyone gets a partner, it was like getting a partner at school. We got the prettiest girl in the class.

“People have raised an eyebrow now and again when we’ve mentioned we’re doing it with Cheryl Cole, but I think it’s going to be a really interesting experience.”
