The trio were appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live! for their first interview together, when the host said to Pattinson and Stewart: “I know you don’t like talking about your personal relationships – so Taylor what’s going on with these two?”

The New Moon stars saw the funny side as the audience cheered, waiting for his answer.

Lautner replied: “I wish I could tell you.”

Kimmel then moved onto Lautner’s rumoured relationship with Taylor Swift, asking if it was true that he is seeing the country music star.

Lautner asked: “Where did you see that?” before Kimmel joked: “When you’re making out, does Kanye West burst into the room or something?”
