The Spice Girls will make a sporty comeback at 2012 Summer Olympic Games in London.

The band's manager Simon Fuller, who was with the girls at the start, said they remained in great demand.

The band have also recently been reported in talks for a stage comeback in which they would be played by other, younger actresses. Mel B was said to be driving the deal.

Fuller said: "They stand for so much in British music history and I can't think of a better time for them to get back together for another performance. The demand for them as a band is as strong as ever."

Victoria Posh Beckham is by far the most famous of the band that comprises Melanie Brown, Emma Bunton, Melanie Chisholm and Geri Halliwell.
