The 24-year-old singer ditched internet technology two months ago after starting a debate on her Myspace about illegal file-sharing and receiving a backlash of comments on the page.

Talking about leaving the internet behind, she said: “When you have that much access to information on yourself it can be really dangerous.

“I wanted to see what life would be like without using the net for a bit. Quite liberating actually!”
