Allen, 24, now has a lily flower named after her after the Manchester radio station Key 103 teamed up with the British Horticultural Society to name the plant after her.

Allen was asked to pick her favourite out of a choice of colours and she went for an orange one as it was the colour of a mug that was given to her by her late nan, Mary Elizabeth.

Allen is heard talking about the Lily Allen flower during an interview with the Manchester radio station.
