Robert Pattinson to romance Uma Thurman in new movie

Thurman, 39, has recently been added to the cast of the film adaptation of Guy de Maupassant’s short story.

The movie will tell the story of George Duroy, played by Pattinson, a young journalist who escaped a life of poverty to become of the most successful men in Paris after sleeping with some of the city’s most influential women.

Kill Bill star Thurman will play the wife of Duroy’s friend. She helps Duroy and later becomes his wife.

British actress Kristin Scott Thomas, 49, has also signed up for the movie and plays a socialite who falls for Duroy.
