Twilight star Robert Pattinson has said his personal hygiene is "disgusting" and revealed that he does not change his clothes on a regular basis.

The 23-year-old actor admitted that the reason he doesn't change his clothes very often is that he doesn't own many items.

He said: "These jeans are a few days old, but the top is probably fresh because it gets to the point, where even I can't stand the air around me.”

He added: "I don't know, my personal hygiene – it's so disgusting! Really, it's just that I have very few clothes that I like and I'm travelling all the time, so I can't really get any more."
