Rob Pattinson groupies tossed out of NY hotel

Read More ]"/> A gaggle of Rob Pattinson groupies posing as guests were ejected from New York’s Bowery Hotel.

The women were sprung in the guests-only area of the hotel’s bar and tossed out by security when they supplied a fake room number.

The Pattinson phenomenon has grown to the point where the actor harbours fears of his own fans. But at the Bowery, he kept his cool.

A guest said: “Rob just kept lowering his hat. He wouldn’t even look up as they walked by.”

Pattinson has devised a mugger’s shtick to avoid fans, some of whom he says offer him blood from scabbed neck wounds.

The actor by night and vampire by day has been spotted at a Japanese restaurant in New York with co-star Kristen Stewart, his unconfirmed lover. A source said: “They’d obviously been there some time. The waiters were still delivering things to the table an hour after the kitchen was supposed to have closed.”

But Stewart was said to look “exhausted” and rested her head in her hands for most of the night. She has spoken of the draining nature of Twilight filmmaking.
