Jack, for his part, does not spend his time in the safety of an office job. He is a star of Adrenaline Junkie, in keeping with his family’s extraordinary showbiz and reality exploits.

Ozzy’s fatherly concern is raised every time Jack takes on the so-called extreme challenge. He said he fears he will one day get a death knell phone call and brands him “crazy”.

Said Ozzy: “He’s got more f**king guns than the Army. My job is to point out what can happen. Jack goes bungee-jumping, skydiving. I mean, even the guys who invented skydiving all f**king died – while skydiving! He told me he wants to bungee-jump off a helicopter, over an active volcano.”

In the past, Jack had some other extreme behavioural concerns, namely drugs of addiction. Now his father is concerned he has replaced one for the other.

Ozzy explained: “He needed help and went into rehab. So he’s stopped all that. And now he’s skydiving instead. What can I do?”
