Tilda Swinton has inspired a campaign to open a new cinema in her home town.

The town of Nairn has not had its own cinema since the 1970s and the Burn After Reading actress has run two film festivals in the area in the past two years.

However, the group Cinema Nairn are hoping to open the first cinema there in recent years.

The group is showing three classic movies in the community centre in the town to try and gather support for the cause.
