Madonna set to meet boyfriend’s parents in Rio

Madonna has touched down in a private jet in Rio, the home of her boyfriend Jesus Luz.

While reports claims she has gone to meet his parents, the singer is also wasting no time organising top-level meetings with local power players.

Rio de Janeiro Governor Sergio Cabral will meet Madonna along with Brazilian billionaire Eike Batista to talk about possible partnerships to help the country.

She is expected to follow her run of African philanthropy with meetings in several poor Brazilian communities.

Local news media say she will also meet with Brazilian first lady Marisa Leticia.

Madonna spent nearly a week in Malawi, the southern Aid-stricken African country from where she adopted two children, where she broke ground on a $15 million girls school.

Now Madonna is also set to meet Luz's mother, hairdresser Cristane Regina da Silva, 36, who had Luz at the young age of 13, and his father, Luis Heitor Pinto.

Pinto, a hospital worker, reportedly earlier said the pair were considering a commitment ceremony.
