Lindsay Lohan is heading to India to film a BBC documentary.

The 23-year-old actress will be following in Jessica Simpson's footsteps and is heading to the country to make a new show for the network.

It is claimed that the company have hired Lohan to front the new documentary on child trafficking.

She revealed the news at a Hollywood event thrown by Sir Richard Branson, and said the Virgin boss inspired her to do it after meeting him at the launch of the Atlantis Hotel in Dubai.
