Ojani Noa, who is trying to sell sex tapes featuring the chart star, says he has been trailed by a car, which his manager alleges is linked to Lopez.

His business manager Ed Meyer told a US magazine: “She’s having him followed. We just ran the license plate of the car, and it goes directly back to Jennifer Lopez. Ojani’s scared.”

But a Lopez source insisted Ojani was being “paranoid”, and was being tracked by a process server trying to hand him legal papers.

Ojani’s lawyer, Frank Sanes Jr., told a US newspaper: “We have some concerns right now about the personal safety of Ojani. We believe he’s under surveillance by someone. He’s had death threats.”

Cuban-born chef Noa, 35, was the first husband of J-Lo, 40.

They wed in February 1997 and divorced less than a year later, in February 1998, after meeting while he was a waiter.

He is also trying to sell a book about their relationship.

A representative for Lopez was unavailable for comment.
