Godfather actor James Caan has filed for divorce from his wife of 14 years, Los Angeles court records show.

The 69-year-old movie legend has cited irreconcilable differences as the reasons for his split with wife Linda Stokes.

The pair wed in 1995, and originally filed for divorce 10 years later in 2005, but soon reconciled. They have two children together, James Jr., 13, and Jacob, 10.

Caan has been married and divorced three times previously.

He is best-known for his role of Santino “Sonny” Corleone in 1972’s The Godfather. He also starred as Paul Sheldon in Stephen King’s Misery opposite Kathy Bates.
