David Tennant to appear on Royal Mint medals

David Tennant has been immortalised in a new series of medals produced by the Royal Mint.

The Doctor Who-inspired set of medals has been unveiled by the Royal Mint and features the actor’s likeness.

The limited-edition medals, which recently went on sale, also feature the Doctor’s robot dog K-9, the Tardis, as well as the Doctor’s arch-enemies, the Daleks.

This is the first time that a television character has been featured on a Royal Mint medal.
