David Tennant reveals “unusual” sandwich combo is his favourite snack

David Tennant has revealed his favourite snack is a sausage sandwich – with peanut butter.

The 38-year-old Scottish actor, who is leaving his role as the famous Doctor at the end of the year, admitted the bizarre combination during a recent radio interview.

He said: “It’s an unusual combination – and not particularly good for you. You get really cheap white bread and smear it thick with peanut butter.

He said: “It’s an unusual combination – and not particularly good for you. You get really cheap white bread and smear it thick with peanut butter.

“It makes quite an appealing kind of sandwich.”

He added: “It is very dirty. You never have it more than once in a 10-year lifespan or your heart will stop.”
