Dancing With The Stars contender Aaron Carter said he feels like he “grew up” while on the show.

The 21-year-old is currently competing on the show with his professional partner Karina Smirnoff and said the show has helped him to grow up.

He said: “I grew up on the show. There were a lot of epiphany moments and I learned a lot from [Karina].”

Carter described the support Karina has given to him as similar to the way his father has encouraged him.

He said: “It was almost like my father a little bit because my dad… taught me so many different things, but the way he did it, he only had to do it once.

“She did the same thing. When it came to learning something about me, she only had to say something one time.”
