She made the Twitter statement in the wake of rumours that erupted after a furious row with her husband, Ashley Cole, following a charity show at the Royal Albert Hall.

Ashley is a football star who plays for Chelsea. He was accused of being unfaithful to Cheryl in a newspaper scandal that broke in January last year.

Cheryl has recently enjoyed smashing success as a singer, with her new song Fight For This Love reaching number one in the British charts. She launched Cheryl Cole Ltd and is reportedly set to earn £5 million from a book deal with publishers HarperCollins.
