X Factor judge Cheryl Cole was knocked off the number one spot in the UK singles chart as former X Factor runners-up JLS claim the title.

The British band were runners-up on last year's show and beat Cheryl to a third week at number one in the UK charts with their second single Everybody In Love.

However, she held on to the top spot in the UK albums charts with her new release 3 Words, which has spent two weeks at number one.

She beat off competition from Bon Jovi, Michael Buble and Foo Fighters, who also had albums in the top 10.
