Amanda Holden will play a Paris showgirl in a documentary series.

Holden, who recently returned from a US junket to seek out opportunities stateside, donned a skimpy two-piece number befitting the Lido cabaret club on the Champs Elysees.

Ooh la la, as they say. Holden, 38, recently said that she found dropping Susan Boyle's name in Los Angeles brought a response. She also recalled a moment at Simon Cowell's pool when she and her Britain's Got Talent co-judges listened to a recording of Boyle.

The truly humble blonde beauty and supporter of new talent tried to join the Moulin Rouge chorus line but was not tall enough, at a petite 5'4".

She has gone on to the Lido, where the response was positive. Said one onlooker: "Amanda looked sensational and didn't seem out of place at all."

The cabaret documentary unfolds in three parts for ITV as a series. Holden also experiences working as a country and western singer and as a stuntwoman. A woman of many talents, indeed.
