Actor Kevin Spacey has said he will continue to keep big name stars away from the Old Vic theatre in London

Actor Kevin Spacey has said he will continue to keep big name stars away from the Old Vic theatre in London.

Spacey, 50, has been the artistic director of the Old Vic theatre for the past six years and has kept his word and only allowed a few big-name stars to grace the stage.

A few stars, such as Jeff Goldblum, Matthew Modine and Richard Dreyfuss have appeared but he has said that he will not be bringing many more in the near future.

He said to UK newspaper The Daily Telegraph: “I think people should just get over the fact that I’m going to bring those kind of people all the time.

“I’m trying to bring wonderful companies and great actors to the Old Vic.”
