Ellen Pompeo steps out for the first time in public since she gave birth

Actress Ellen Pompeo , 39, who has recently given birth to baby girl Stella Luna, was spotted at the launch of Adidas Originals with her husband Christopher Ivery by her side.

The Grey's Anatomy star said: "Everything is fantastic."

In reply to what's the best thing about being a new mum, Pompeo replied: "Everything. I'm the luckiest girl in the world!"

Pompeo and her co-star Katherine Heigl on the hospital drama TV show are both currently taking breaks to look after their new babies.

Heigl has recently adopted a new Korean baby called Naleigh.

When asked if the two babies will have play-dates together, Ellen said they will when Stella "catches up a little bit" because Naleigh is older.
